Manchester Young Carers Group
I would like to encourage you to visit the Young Carers Group website to know more about us, but to sum it up from my involvement, I joined the Group (known back then as Manchester Young Carers Forum) back in April 2016. It was and always has been led by young carers. I was Vice-Chairman up to April 2017, then left, then came back as an Advisor from Summer 2017 to October 2017, then was made Chairman from October 2017 until it's closure in December 2018.
During that time, I used my graphics skills to make posters and design the Young Carers Group Transition Booklet that has helped inform local Government and youth services about the transition for young carers throughout their childhood. |

PARTISPACE
I created this pamphlet as part of a youth led project around the issue of youth homelessness in Manchester. This booklet is intended to serve as a guide to help homeless people find services across the city.

A-Level Graphic Design and Communication - Holy Cross College
Throughout my course at Holy Cross College, I have drastically improved my graphic design skills. You'll notice that some of the artwork I created isn't that good, and I'm not afraid to admit that. I wanted to show you the journey I took and how I've improved my skills over the two years of study, and, the work I did after that for other charities and youth organisations.
Architecture
Inspired by Julian Opie, I went out creating weird and wonderful architectural images to reflect the building's aesthetics.
Fanzine
I wanted to create a fanzine which illustrated the moral and ethical issues that occur in childhood. I have created designs that I think best portray these issues that many young people face today.
Music
Music is a passion of mine, and one of my favourite bands are Asking Alexandria. Their newest album, 'The Black', was inspiration to make song covers to go with each song. I also created artwork for the band that we tried making it work (called 'In Her Honour') and I wrote the lyrics and song titles that I planned.
